Race Report – 2012 Big Sur Marathon

Posted by:

This was by far my favorite run ever. I was really glad to get to share the experience with some great friends.

I didn’t really taper for the race (in fact, I had “raced” the three weekends prior, including a 7 mile PR and a 1:27 half) so when I drove the course and saw how hilly it was I really got nervous. The hills were absolutely brutal and I haven’t ran any sort of hill training this spring, …

Race Report: Disney Half Marathon…

Been a long time since I decided to post…Lots has happened, but here’s my latest race report…

Luckily a friend pointed out a race down in Northfield, a more reasonable …

Race Report: Philadelphia Half Marathon…

I have to admit, it’s much more fun writing a positive race report, rather than all the depressing ones I’ve written in the past. I was beginning to sound like a Damien Rice cd.
Overall I am satisfied with the half, not really happy, not really upset, just satisfied. I went into the race in the middle of marathon training and was hoping to be around 1:28.
What I’m really excited about is that I think I have put all …
